Rest In Peace now Kevin I am fortunate to have known Kevin for all of his 50 years in the Foundry Industry. Hi calm, patient, caring and conscientious approach to his life and work was always evident. My sincerest sympathy to Margarita and family. Rest in Peace Kevin. Your time spent on the AFI Qld committee was admirable, your contributed so much of your time and knowledge to our industry. Your smile graced many dinners, technical meetings, conferences and you loved running our Golf Days especially, before moving onto the NSW committee. You truly deserved your "Legend" status. Our deepest sympathies are with Kevin's family and we'd like to acknowledge the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse for taking care of Kevin and his family. Kevin your are and will be missed by many. Kevin was a dear friend and a tireless worker for 50 years in the foundry industry which he was actively involved with as well as a voluntary AFI Committee Member for more than 5 years. I will miss him as will so many others. Thank you to the kind and caring staff at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse that helped Kevin with his battle over the last year. Rest in peace Kevin. A gentleman in the truest sense, taken too soon. Kevin was a mentor to me back in the early 80's. He always had time for me and answered all my questions, sensible or otherwise. He was also a mate, though our paths only crossed intermittently. When we did catch up from time-to-time, it was as if no time had passed. You will truly be missed. Vale, Kevin.
