It is with enormous sadness that we
share the passing of the amazingly talented and beautiful soul, Lyn Keep.
Lyn had a remarkable ability to light up a room
with her honesty and zest for life.
She thrived on guiding people’s careers, using her
experience and contacts to ensure everyone she met received mentorship. Lyn was a natural
connector who brought people together across every corner of the entertainment
and travel industry.
Throughout her long and devoted career
in the travel industry, Lyn made a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
From her early days with Ansett Airlines to later building the wonderful Show
Group alongside her close friend, Graham Fear, she always spoke fondly of the
many great people she worked with along the way.
In recent years, Lyn became an integral part of
the Travel Beyond Group. She was not just a colleague — she was a cherished
member of their family (like she was in all her previous roles).
Lyn was also a dedicated and much-loved member of the Golden Stave team for many years as far back as the 80’s. Her tireless dedication and drive in sourcing many valuable donated prizes each year for the Golden Stave was a key factor of their continued fundraising success.
Her unwavering dedication to her partners, clients, and co-workers created a culture of inclusion, friendship, and a commitment to delivering excellence here and around the world.
Her gift was simple yet rare: she made everyone feel seen, valued, and part of something special.
She was family, a friend, mentor, protector, fierce rival, confidante, and fairy godmother rolled into one. Always lifting others up, always showing up with kindness, wisdom and that trademark warmth.
Thank you for your love, your friendship, and of course, the Tim Tams. You’ll be so deeply missed, but never forgotten ❤️
