Shitbox to the Tip

Thursday 28th Aug
The night before Blake’s 30th birthday, he was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) — cancer, on his tongue.
Today, a year later, Blake is cancer-free, which is incredible. But the road to get there involved major surgery, emotional tolls, and lifelong scars — some of which might have been avoided if it had been caught earlier.
Blake was unbelievably lucky. His dentist noticed something that didn’t sit right and went above and beyond to follow it up — something he didn’t have to do. We’ll never stop being grateful for that. But if Blake and Alix had realised sooner that it could be cancer — or any serious illness — things might have been different. It could’ve been treated months earlier. He might never have needed that surgery.
And that’s why we’re doing this.

Cancer doesn’t wait until you’re old. It hits young people too — when we’re meant to be invincible.
We want to raise awareness for young adult cancer, support life-saving research, and prove that you don’t need a $100K rig to do something bold and meaningful. This is about living life while we still can — while we’re still able to.

So lets grab a budget rig, and drive to one of the most beautiful locations in Australia, lets have an adventure.

All donations will go directly to Cancer Council and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse — two organisations that made it possible for Blake and his family to get through to the other side.
