In support of patients with Breast Cancer

Cancer affects us all. Thats why this October Adrian William is making a meaningful commitment by transforming our signboards pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Throughout the month, we're donating $500 from every completed campaign directly to Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. As a not-for-profit hospital, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse treats over 60,000 cancer patients annually, reinvesting revenue and donations directly into patient care.

Every dollar raised this October will support breast cancer patients and their families, through patient care, research, clinical trials and specialist breast care nurses. This cause hits close to home accross our team.

"Having a loved one go through breast cancer made me more aware of regular self-checks and speaking to your doctor if something doesn't feel right," explains Pheobe Bressick, Excecutive Assistant.

"Growing up with my granny after mastectomy, I just thought she looked unique. Only later did I understand how much she went through."

Michael White, Real Estate Agent, has also faced cancer within his family. "Cancer impacts families in unexpected ways, and almost everyone knows someone affected. What helps most is community support - cooked dinners, handwritten notes, simply knowing people have your back."

Phoenix Naman, Head of Marketing, lost a dear friend in her mid-thirties to cancer. "She was a talented filmmaker, a new mother, and loving wife who'd left her corporate job to pursue her dream. She was like a sister to me."

"Chris O'Brien Lifehouse continues to lead the way in cancer research, prevention and treatment," Phoenix continues. "We couldn't be more proud to support an organisation that believes every person deserves the best cancer care possible."
