What and Why

Wednesday 5th Mar
I am running the Bondi - Manly 80KM Ultramarathon (Oct 25th) in order to raise funds for the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse after my dad (Bruce Alexander) passed away due to Cancer when I was 11 years old.

He battled Squamous cell carcinoma that started in the follicle of his wisdom tooth. He was diagnosed in December of 2015 and underwent immediate surgery, later passing away in June of 2016.

I would like to direct the funds to the head and neck department at the Lifehouse as they are the ones that assisted my dad.

Running the ultramarathon will serve as a reminder that life may be tough at that moment but there are millions of people wishing they had more time left.
