Why the chop?

If you know me, you know that I love having long hair!

For over fifteen years I’ve described myself as the woman with long blonde hair and blue glasses.

But cancer sucks. I’ve experienced it first hand (and so very thankfully lived to tell the story), I’ve watched my Mum battle breast cancer more than once.

Right now I’ve got friends who have terminal diagnoses, and have seen others I care about die with cancer.

I love the work that the Chris O'Brien Life House does in treating those with cancer, and leading cutting edge research.

I don’t like short hair, but I hate cancer even more!  So I’m going to chop off 35cms of my hair on 16th February 2024 and donate it to make wigs for kids with cancer, and I’m asking you to support me by making a donation to Lifehouse at the same time.  Sounds like a good deal to me!
