My Updates

In memory of Tania Peruzzi
Monday 13th OctIn May, scans showed signs of soft tissue sarcoma - an aggressive and rare cancer. After emergency surgery in July and beginning chemotherapy in late August, our mum was moved to palliative care on the 17th of September and passed away peacefully on the morning of the 20th, surrounded by me and my dad.
Watching her go through it all showed us how important it is to look after the people around you. You never really know what someone’s going through, so check in, stand by your mates, and be there when it matters.
Throughout her surgery and treatment, Mum required large amounts of donated blood, which gave her strength and time with us that we’ll always be grateful for. If you’re able, please consider donating blood - it’s one of the most direct and meaningful ways to help families like ours.
This fundraiser is a way to honour her memory and support others going through the same fight, while reminding everyone that compassion and connection can make all the difference.
