When Chris visited he lit up the London like no one else could. Within minutes a crowd would form and the conversation inevitably turned to cricket and rugby. His enthusiasm for everything was infectious. He will be sorely missed.

Thanks for setting this up, Mike. You were the reason I met Chris in Sydney some 22 years ago. He was a great mate, utterly hilarious, always mischievous but with a big heart - quite literally the life and soul. A tragic loss. Love and condolence to Conor, Tyler and Robyn from all the Ago’s.

One of the best mates I have known.

Chris was the first bloke I used to look for at the many customer conferences and events we held at CPA. I had often travelled a long distance to get there (as had he) and felt jet-lagged and weary. Chris would lift all that with one beaming smile and welcoming exclamation of some sort or another. If you knew him even just a bit, you felt like he was a best mate. A huge, huge loss and will be surely missed by everyone.

I don’t use ‘one of a kind’ often but Chris is absolutely deserving. Will miss him!

Chris was one of the best! I have some great memories with him around the world at various client sites or conferences.

As Farther Brendon Quirk so aptly put it in his eulogy... If life was a bone Christ Story sucked the marrow out of it before he died ! RIP old friend... You'll live on in our memories and hearts until we join you ...

Al the doctors and nurses at Chris O'Brien were so wonderful to Chris, all the way through his illness. This money raised will help fund other clinical trials to help other people. Hopefully one day they will find a cure x

Chris was such a wonderful and positive human being, my heart is filled with great sadness for all the love and laughter everyone will miss because he is not here anymore.

The essence of Chris Story has been captured beautifully by all those that knew and loved him. Chris never met a stranger in his life. He brought everyone into his circle immediately and brightened every room that was lucky enough to have him present. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Chris was the life of the party, and if it was a business meeting he made it a party anyway. I’m sure he racked up the booze bills just to piss off the company accountants. We are all worse off with Chris gone.

One of the nicest guys you’d ever meet. I remember him fondly from our days at CABS and was “Christened” the Putting Pug from one of our golf days. Last saw him on a flight to the US a few years ago. Hard to believe he’s gone.

Thanks for setting up Mike. I only remember good things about Chris and his infectious sense of fun. We shared some good laughs over the years!

We have lost a great character. I always looked forward to when my paths crossed with Chris which I am glad to say they did quite a bit over the years. He was generous with his knowledge and experience and a much valued colleague, and my goodness did we have some laughs.

Chris was certainly a great character that everyone will miss. He loved life to the full and when he was in London the city was lit up by his smile and good humour. Thanks for setting up this page Mike.

Chris - we didn’t get to work together enough, but when we did, it was great fun and will always be remembered with a smile. Mike - Thank you for letting us know and for setting this up.

Chris came over to the USA in the early days of CPA North America and made an immediate impact to the business and more importantly to the people he worked with. I was lucky and fortunate enough to have spent a lot of time with Chris during that time. He was a great colleague and better friend. Please send my sincere sympathy to his family.

Chris will be missed by so many. Hopefully the money raised can go towards researching a cure. xx

I recall the many years working with Chris at CPA Global with fond and never forgettable memories. He brought the sunshine, laughter and fun with him whenever he arrived in the London office. He will be greatly missed! Walking past the Coach and Horses pub in Convent Garden always brings a smile to my face. Rest in Power, Chris.

Earning the name 'Wingman' from Chris is an honor I've always held dearly and will forever. So saddened by this news. He left memories I'll keep forever.
