2025 Hurley Burley (Muddy Sardelic) Charity Day 5
Wednesday 6th Mar
The Hurley Burley Cup is a grassroots charity event in the Inner West, founded by Burwood FC’s Nathan Ruff and the late Marin "Muddy" Sardelic, a passionate philanthropist and legend of Hurlstone Park FC. Muddy’s dedication to giving back continues through this event, which has raised over $50,000 for causes like Chris O'Brien.
What started with just 25 players has grown to over 400 participants in 2025. For the first time, the event will span two days, March 22-23, at Blair Park, hosted by Burwood FC.
The Hurley Burley Cup has become one of the largest community football fundraisers in the Inner West, bringing together local businesses, community members, and football fans to compete for charity and honor Muddy’s legacy.
