Throughout Luca’s time at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, he and our family experienced the extraordinary care, compassion and professionalism of so many people. We will always be deeply grateful to Professor Charbel Sandroussi, Clinical Nurse Consultant Jeanne Martin, and the teams across Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and the doctors and nurses of ICU, 7 South and 8 South, who cared for Luca and supported our family.

I’m one of the nurses “Amy” on 8South who looked after Luca on multiple occasions but also a day before his passing, I was meant to work that day but called in sick. I’d just like to say what a privilege it was to meet Luca and his gorgeous wife. Luca was so kind and a pleasure to look after. I really do wish his family especially his wife who please forgive me but I’ve forgotten her name… I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for him.
