As you all know it’s been a bit of a tough year in the Ritter-White household wt Al battling head and neck cancer.
When we first found out Al had a massive tumour growing in his head that had spread to his lymph nodes, we weren’t leaving anything to chance and set out to find the best treatment available.
Fortunately we were given the opportunity to be treated at the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse which has the most wonderful holistic approach to cancer treatment with the best survival rates in the country. But the best of the best does not come cheap and having to live off a considerably reduced income due to Alan being too sick to work, we found ourselves in a bit of a predicament.
At the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse they believe everyone deserves the best treatment and allowed Alan to be treated free of charge under financial hardship.
I’d now like to give back to this amazing organisation so more people like us will have the opportunity to have the best treatment when fighting for their lives.
I plan to tackle a series of ocean swims over the summer and need to ask you (again) for your support. So many of you have already done so much for my family and your kindness and generosity got us through our darkest times but if I could just ask for one more favour!
